Invitation to an Audiovisual Showcase in Olomouc

11. 9. 2025 film industry

We would like to invite you to the first meeting of local audiovisual creators, Show Show Reel, where not only local professionals but also talented students of Palacký University Olomouc will present their work. The event will take place on 8 October from 7:00 PM in the UCUP Screening Room (Konvikt, Univerzitní 3, Olomouc). It will last approximately 120 minutes and will be followed by an informal discussion at the Vertigo club.

The aim of the event is to promote regional audiovisual production, strengthen mutual communication, enable the exchange of experience, and foster future collaboration. We anticipate that after this first “edition,” the event will continue with further installments and additional guests, gradually giving a voice to all outstanding talents and productions. If you are interested, we can reserve a seat (or seats) for you or your institution—please get in touch by 23 September. More information, updated continuously, can be found at the event page: https://fb.me/e/5uzT3qboo

We would be very grateful for your interest and participation! The event is organized by Petr Bilík, a member of the CIRG research team, and is a follow-up activity of the project Comprehensive Research and Support for the Development of Cultural and Creative Industries in the Olomouc Agglomeration. It is organized in cooperation with the Department of Theatre and Media Studies, the Faculty of Arts of Palacký University, Palacký University Olomouc, the Olomouc Region, the Olomouc Region Innovation Centre, PasticheFilmz, and the student festivals FFest and V.ř.e.d.
