Art is not just a passion – it can also be your profession. This guide shows you how to turn your creative skills into an officially registered business.

The aim of the handbook How to Start Working as a Self-Employed Artist is to provide artists with a clear and accessible guide to setting up a trade licence in the Czech Republic, including the relevant legal and administrative requirements. The author of the handbook is Rudolf Leška, a member of the CIRG research group and a lawyer. The handbook was created as part of the project Comprehensive Research and Support for the Development of Cultural and Creative Industries in the Olomouc Agglomeration. You can download the handbook here.
