The doctoral study program will be accredited at Palacký University in Olomouc and will focus on training researchers in the field of audiovisual and performing production and consumption, as well as on carrying out dissertation projects aimed at studying individual actors in the cultural field, the structures of the cultural industries, and cultural artifacts along with their textual properties. The doctoral program will integrate social science, legal, and economic disciplines for application within dissertation projects that analyze current issues in cultural sectors in the Czech Republic. The project also includes the preparation of a study support in the form of a collective monograph addressing current problems in the audiovisual sector from the perspective of small peripheral markets, including the Czech Republic.
